Sally look-a-like

We were on our way to walk the Mackinac Bridge. When I saw this picture I thought it was Sally.

Sue's Views

Hey! Sue's up and running again (After calling my repair guy and spending $35.00) That's worth every penny to be able to chat with the fam. Yes. Ron and I completed our 10th walk across the Mighty Mac last Monday. There were several interesting tidbits this year. We had traffic jams trying to get to the St. Ignace side, due to accidents and people wanting to get Jennifer Granholm's autograph. Then there were several EMS crews called onto the bridge for minor injuries and heat exhaustion. When we got to the midway point on the bridge, a guy right next to us, dropped to one knee as he held his girlfriend's hand and proposed! Oh fer cute! The bridge walk was by far the foggiest we ever had. The temperature got up to eighty by the time we finished the walk. We high-tailed it over to the Admiral's Table for breakfast, keeping that tradition a highlight.

Ron captured three little fawns having some of my back yard flowers for an afternoon snack. The bright sun is reflecting up the Thunder Bay River in the background. This was taken through the glass window. It was a good thing Ruby was sleeping in the opposite end of the house. She would have loved to play with these little tykes. James, maybe we'll see you up in MC. Ron and I will be doing our 10th Labor walk across the bridge. I doubt my calves will get as much exercise as you crazy 50 year old youngsters.

Sue's Views

Ron and I took Therese and Tim to Vivio's tonight as a Thank You for all the 400 photos she took during the Tuohimaa's visit. Tim and I tried the deep fried chicken livers for an appetizer. Then I ate their mostacioli. Needless to say, I can't sleep. I feel like I ate an elephant. So anyway, after a little problem getting onto the Rathblog tonight???, I thought I'd send this awesome picture I took of Ruby about a week ago. Is my sister in Florida? I'm sure you're out on the deck watching the wavescrash into shore. That's where I would be at two in the morning. Good Night All!

Ah... Memories of Kayaking on the ocean. Never mind my wrinkled neck. Sally and I were ready for a nice afternoon paddle n the ocean. As we were launching the kayak (Sally walking backwards with the kayak, I was walking forward) Sally stepped on a rock...I kept going forward, and got the end of the Kayak smashed into my chest bone! To this day it still hurts, but the bruise is jus aabout gone. That was a month and a half ago...do I sound like Mother? I had to share one of the boo-boos I received during my vacation. As it turned out, we had a great paddle anyway.
